The bus was made into good running order last year and the bus was on display at the World Scout Jamboree last year. The bus is sold with full mechanical preparation and new Ministry of Transport test certificate (class V). Sign found in vehicle: “BTV172S 1977 BRISTOL VRTSL3 Originally built to the order of the East Midlands company for services in Nottinghamshire, this bus was eventually acquired for use as a film prop in the SPICE GIRLS film, being driven by Meat Loaf. The interior view seen in the film were all recorded in a studio set; only the front entrance and the outside of the bus were used and changed for the filming . The vehicle was give to the Trust by the film company in 1989. It is hope to restore this bus and present inside the lower deck, a small tribute to the famous five”.
