This is an incredible replica of ‘Gort’, the eight foot tall robot introduced in the 1951 movie ‘The Day The Earth Stood Still’.

It was created by Fred Barton Productions, Inc. and the artistry, detailing and character of the original robot are faithfully maintained in this high quality reproduction. This is a must-have for any serious Sci-fi collector.  THIS IS A LOCA PICKUP ONLY IN SAN FRANCISCO

Wow, this is a seriously tempting offer… (Like I have millions of dollllars laying around…*YET*). This auction is for the “greatest music collection”. The auction also goes on to say

“Every recording in the collection was purchased by the collection’s owner over the past fifty years and represents a lifetime of work and his desire to see the music preserved for future generations. Advancing age and health concerns are forcing the owner to sell.” He also goes on to say that the winner of the auction agrees that “The Collection WILL NOT be broken up if not sold on eBay, other than possibly having the digital and analog portions separated.” WOW! This was donated by Adrianne Curry to PRECIOUS PAWS, a non profit dog and cat rescue organization who she adopted her three kitties from and is based in Southern California.
